Fintech software development

Paul Titov & Co develops fintech product software: payment workflows, internal ledgers, provider integrations, reconciliation, reporting, and operator tools. We implement requirements defined with the client and its advisers; we are not a bank, payment institution, exchange, custodian, or investment provider.

Fintech products are defined by state, traceability, and trust. A payment does not simply succeed or fail: it is created, authorised, processed, confirmed, reversed, refunded, reconciled, or sent for review. We design these states explicitly and build the backend services, interfaces, integrations, and operational tools that allow a financial product team to understand what happened to every transaction.

Our fintech product development work includes payment platforms, multi-currency systems, transaction dashboards, financial data processing, account and ledger models, payment gateway integrations, and customer-facing applications. We can build a new platform, modernise an existing financial codebase, or take responsibility for a defined subsystem such as payments, reporting, identity, or reconciliation.

Payments, identity, and compliance integrations

Financial software often depends on regulated external providers. We integrate payment gateways, banking and financial-data APIs, KYC and KYB services, AML screening providers, authentication systems, and notification services. The product is designed to preserve provider responses, user consent, audit history, and the distinction between an automated decision and a manual review.

Security is treated as part of the architecture: role-based access, strong authentication, protected secrets, idempotent transaction handling, audit logs, monitoring, backups, and controlled production access. Where blockchain rails are relevant, our blockchain infrastructure work can connect on-chain transactions with a conventional product ledger and reporting model.

Financial data and product operations

A finance team, support team, and customer should not see three incompatible versions of the same transaction. We build data pipelines, operational dashboards, reconciliation tools, exports, alerts, and reporting around a shared model. Our data and analytics capability supports cohort analysis, revenue reporting, anomaly detection, and decision-grade product metrics.

Paul Titov & Co provides product design and software engineering services. We do not provide banking, payment, investment, exchange, custody, or other regulated financial services, and we do not represent a client’s regulatory status.

The problems we are usually asked to solve

A fintech engagement often begins where a product’s visible interface meets an operational reality: a payment status that cannot be explained, several providers with incompatible responses, manual reconciliation in spreadsheets, or a permissions model that no longer reflects the organisation. We map the transaction lifecycle and source of truth before changing the interface, then build explicit states, idempotent processing, audit history, exception handling, and tools for the people responsible for resolving failures.

For a new product, we can take the same thinking from discovery into architecture, customer journeys, provider selection, integration, reporting, infrastructure, and launch. We work with the client’s legal and compliance advisers on the requirements they define; our role is to turn those requirements into reliable product behaviour and evidence that can be inspected.

Paul Titov & Co does not provide regulated financial services.
